Unfortunately not all Conjuncts are as straight forwards as the Left/Right Conjuncts you saw in the last lesson. In this lesson we will cover some of the more Funky Conjuncts.

Initial/Flying R

When the first letter in a Conjunct is "r" then it appears at the top of the the second letter as a hook. This is known as a "Flying R".

Secondary R

When R is the second letter in a Conjunct is shows up as a little diagonal dash.

This is not an exhaustive list but if you understand the Conjuncts on this page you should be able to figure out new ones that you encounter. Practice and exposure to new words will soon have you using Conjuncts without even thinking about it.
